Storage & handling
DANGER — reacts violently with water releasing HBr (toxic, corrosive). Store at 2–10 °C in tightly-sealed original packaging under dry nitrogen blanket, away from moisture, reducing agents, alcohols, amines and bases. Keep away from organic combustibles. Use only with full PPE in a fume hood; transfer in a glove box for moisture-sensitive routes. Shelf life 12 months unopened under N₂; opened containers must be re-purged with dry N₂ immediately after every use.
