Certificate of Analysis
Last updated · 15 May 2026
Every batch we ship is accompanied by a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis (CoA). This page explains what's in our CoAs, how to download or request them, and what custom analyses we can run on demand.
A CoA with every shipment
When your order leaves our warehouse, the matching batch CoA is attached to the shipment paperwork and emailed to your account contact. A copy is also uploaded to the product page under Documents → Certificate of Analysis, so you (or your QA team) can re-download it at any time.
What's in a Chem-End CoA
- Product name, grade and CAS number
- Unique batch / lot number and manufacture date
- Tested specification values: purity, water, residual solvents, heavy metals, ash, UV cutoff or particle size as applicable
- Test methods (GC, HPLC, KF titration, ICP-MS, etc.)
- Best-before / re-test date
- Signature of the responsible QA officer and date of release
- Reference to the relevant pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur., USP) for pharma grades
Need a CoA for a past order?
Logged-in customers can re-download CoAs from the order history at My account → Orders → [order] → Documents. If the file is missing or the order was placed before your account existed, email sales@chem-end.com with your order number and we'll send a fresh copy within one business day.
Custom analyses on request
We routinely test for the parameters required by ACS / Ph. Eur. / ChP / JP grades. If your application needs analyses beyond our standard CoA — for example, residual catalyst metals at sub-ppb level, microbial limits, optical rotation for chiral grades — we run additional QC on the dispatch batch for a fee. Lead time 1–3 business days depending on the test.
Email sales@chem-end.com with the parameters and detection limits you need, and we'll confirm price and turnaround.
Multiple batches in one order
For large orders that may ship from more than one lot, we deliver a CoA per batch and a packing list that tells you which drums belong to which lot. Mixed-lot orders are clearly tagged on the dispatch documents and on your account history.
